Forecourt Television Network

One of the world's most ambitious outdoor advertising display networks was installed by Stella Vista for Forecourt Television Network in the year 2000.

The network consists of 40 video LED displays, installed at service station forecourts in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria, all showing advertising, news and infotainment to the motorists. The concept is unique in that it uses sound together with video images to deliver the message. FTN controls the whole system from a central site, using satellite receivers - to deliver the video materials, as well as modems - to obtain the reports and self-diagnostic information from the displays.
